Engineering Overview & Technical Standards

Automatic Chain Barriers for Wide Parking Spans

DoorHan automatic chain barriers (Chain-Barrier series) provide an elegant, effective, and cost-efficient vehicle access control solution for reserving private parking zones, commercial driveways, and pedestrian plazas with wide roadway openings up to 16 meters. By raising a heavy-duty steel chain between two motorized steel bollard posts, the system blocks vehicle access while maintaining an open, unobtrusive architectural appearance.

When activated via remote control or RFID card, the motorized mechanism lowers the steel chain into a recessed ground guide channel, allowing vehicles to pass smoothly without tire obstruction.

Key Technical Specifications & Engineering Standards:

  • Wide Span Coverage: Controls driveway widths from 2 meters up to 16 meters with a single coordinated system.
  • Recessed Ground Channel: Protective steel floor profile conceals and protects the chain when lowered, preventing tire damage.
  • High-Durability Electric Motor: High-duty electromechanical motor with nylon/steel gear train and electronic deceleration.
  • Impact-Resistant Enclosure: Heavy-gauge galvanized steel master and slave pillars finished with corrosion-proof architectural coating.
  • Safety Photocell Integration: Photocell safety beams stop chain lifting if a vehicle is parked or moving across the driveway.

Quality Assurance & Engineering Compliance:

DoorHan automatic boom barriers, anti-vandal barriers, and hydraulic rising bollards are engineered for high-intensity traffic management in compliance with international CE safety standards. Each hydraulic and electromechanical unit is endurance tested for high-cycle continuous duty with integrated obstacle detection. We deliver complete foundation pit layouts, loop detector wiring plans, and master access control integration schematics.

DoorHan chain barriers offer the perfect blend of wide-span traffic control, urban aesthetics, and reliable electro-mechanical performance.

With heavy-gauge galvanized steel protective housings and robust electromechanical or hydraulic drive mechanisms, DoorHan Chain barriers provides unyielding perimeter access defense, high duty-cycle performance, and seamless connectivity with card readers, license plate recognition, and loop detectors.
